On June 14, 2024, the OSU/A&M Board of Regents voted to rename the original Agricultural Hall to Legacy Hall. The Ag Hall name was transferred to the new home for OSU Agriculture, also located at the intersection of Farm Road and Monroe Street.

The naming signifies the history and legacy of Agricultural Hall and allows it to continue for future generations of Cowboys.

The north wing of Legacy Hall was completed in early 1958. The south hall construction was completed in 1964, followed by the east facing building’s completion in March 1969. This final building connected the two wings.

The history of Legacy Hall was featured in the Spring 2024 edition of the Cowboy Journal - Beyond The Bricks: Unveiling the past and future of Agricultural Hall.
