Dean's Advisory Council
The OSU Agriculture Dean’s Advisory Council (DAC) is an organization of leaders in agricultural and natural resource industries, representing both alumni and supporters of Oklahoma State University.
Purpose
The Council provides valuable input to Dr. Jayson Lusk, vice president and dean, to move OSU Agriculture forward to be a leader in education, research and Extension. Members help increase the visibility and reputation of OSU Agriculture locally and nationally, are invested in the future, and support the development and strengthening of relationships with industry leaders.
26 Current Members
Structure
The DAC meets twice a year and is composed of executive committee members and individual and corporate council members, including representatives from leading agricultural and natural resource organizations. The broad industry representation of the council ensures OSU Agriculture’s impact in Oklahoma and beyond.

Meetings
A meeting of the council with the dean will be held twice annually. This meeting will allow council members to learn, first-hand, about new initiatives and provide input to the dean as part of the decision-making process. Additionally, the council may provide nominations for consideration of several OSU Agriculture awards.
Field Days
OSU Agriculture Field Days are educational events presented by OSU Ag Research and Extension to share research-based information and resources with Oklahomans. Field days showcase current agricultural research and relevant best practices through presentations, tours, hands-on workshops and discussion at little or no cost. Members will be invited to participate in OSU Agriculture Field Days and will be recognized during the event.

The Dean’s Advisory Council will be recognized each year as the presenting sponsor. Council members will each receive one complimentary event ticket.

Dean’s Advisory Council members will be recognized in Agricultural Hall and on the Dean's Advisory Council webpage throughout the year.
Get Involved
The Dean’s Advisory Council plays a vital role by providing strategic guidance, serving as ambassadors for OSU Agriculture, and supporting initiatives that address our most pressing needs. To support meaningful engagement, Council members are asked to make an annual membership gift to the Dean’s Excellence Fund in Agriculture. This fund allows us to assist students in need, offer mini‑grants for special projects, and provide flexible support where it is needed most.
Individual membership begins with a $2,500 annual gift, with additional opportunities for corporate and five‑year tenure memberships. We would be honored to have you consider joining this distinguished group of leaders who are helping shape the next chapter of OSU Agriculture.
